IPL Photo-Facial treats sun damage, sunspots, freckles, rosacea, broken capillaries and cherry angiomas (those annoying little red dots). IPL systems work on the same principles as lasers in that light energy is absorbed into particular target cells with colour (chromophores) in the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy, which causes damage to the specific target area to remove the unwanted brown and red color from the skin.

Globularia Cordifolia stem cells, peptides and the antioxidant power of blueberry and vanilla promote an even skin tone and smooth texture while minimizing redness and irritation.  Mandelic acid, a bitter almond extract, gently expedites cell turnover, promotes an even skin tone and brightens dull complexions.  Acetyl Hexapeptide-37 improves water flux and barrier integrity throughout the skin for enhanced hydration and the plant stem cell, Globularia Cordifolia, helps reduce pro-aging agents and micro-inflammation.  Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8 helps to protect skin against sensitivity and reduce the appearance of enlarged capillaries. Blueberry and vanilla extracts protect skin from free radical damage and contribute antibacterial and moisturizing properties.
